That is why we are delighted to support the pilot project “Safety concepts for mobile robots – SafeVelo” from @SIEMENS Industry as a partner and customer. This enables us to effectively expand our reliable safety models.
This project focuses on “fail-safe speed” as a safety measure. It ensures that a system continues to function safely and efficiently even if individual components fail. The gap between IT and OT systems is closed by the software-based approach.
