Your responsibilities:
- Create mechanical documentation including system and assembly documentation, as well as system and functional descriptions for all lifecycle phases (transport, installation, operation, maintenance, repair, dismantling)
- Compile electrical and mechanical documentation and deliver it to the customer or upload it to customer portals
- Prepare drawings and bills of materials in accordance with customer specifications
- Review and assess customer specifications, requirement documents, and standards
- Develop system and machine function descriptions
- Create maintenance and repair instructions
- Implement customer-specific documentation requirements (deviations from standard documentation)
- Prepare training materials and, if required, conduct training sessions
- Coordinate documentation topics with customers and suppliers
- Manage external translation service providers
Your profile:
- Degree as a Mechanical Engineer, Mechanical Technician, or experienced Technical Product Designer, or a comparable qualification
- Strong written and spoken German skills as well as good English skills
- Ability to explain and describe complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable way
- Experience with delivery specifications, standards, and regulations
- Familiarity with safety-related standards, directives, and legislation
- Proficient in MS Office
- Solid experience using 2D/3D CAD systems such as Inventor and AutoCAD
- Independent, reliable, structured, and customer-oriented working style
- Strong team player with enthusiasm for shared success
- Experience in CE documentation according to BÄR Automation guidelines
- Ability to plan and organize own workload effectively
